As
India celebrates its 73rd Republic Day on Wednesday, 26 January, the annual
parade took place at New Delhi's Rajpath, with tableaux of 12 states and nine
Union ministries on display. A grand 75-aircraft flypast by the Indian Air
Force was also performed.
Today
marks the 73rd Republic Day of India. The Republic Day event and parade was
held at the Rajpath in New Delhi among Covid-19 alert and with various preventive
measures in place for safety. This year tableaux of 12 states were selected.
Tableaux of Arunachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Jammu and
Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and
Uttarakhand was shown at this year’s parade.
